Bernard Mountain Details

This mountain, near Seal Cove, is one of the least visited peaks in the Park, so there's a good chance you'll have it all to yourself. To get to the summit, take the Bernard Mountain Trail, formerly known as the Bernard Mountain South Face Trail. The trail curves gracefully over the beautiful wooded slopes of the mountain, with spruce and fir trees towering over the rushing streams and small cascades that run through a small gorge near the trailhead. The rugged trail terminates at Bernard Mountain's 1,071-foot summit which has spectacular ocean views.
