Bar Harbor Shore Path Details
The path provides an excellent introduction to some of Mt. Desert Island's famous landmarks. The path passes some of Bar Harbor's most impressive private homes and notoriously quaint B&Bs and waterfront. The public piers in this area have great views over the harbor toward Bar and Porcupine Islands as well as the Schoodic Peninsula. On clear days, visitors can see the pink granite Bubbles looming over the town.
