Tennessee Rock Trail Details
This is the most popular hike in Black Rock Mountain State Park, and for a good reason. The high-altitude views and diverse terrain along this 2.2-mile trek have plenty to offer intermediate to advanced hikers. The first part of the trail is relatively easy and scenic as it winds through the densely wooded forest. But about halfway through the trip, you will start the ascent towards the mountains summit. The best views are from the overlook at the top, where you will see into North Carolina at the peaks of the Albert and Pickens Nose Mountains.
