Ute Trail Details

This 4.4-mile trail is mostly downhill and offers some spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains alpine landscape. A moderate-to-strenuous hike with one major uphill segment, the Ute Trail descends more than 2,000 feet from Trail Ridge Road to its intersection with the Beaver Mountain Trail, passing through Ute Meadows along the way. If you go one way, though, be sure you have a ride back to your car!
