Park Point Overlook Details

Soak in stunning vistas at the highest point in the park at 8,572 feet. Here at Park Point, see views of the La Plata Mountains, the volcanic San Juan Mountains, and the Sleeping Ute Mountain. Mancos and Dakota deposits cover the broad flat plain below the Mesa Verde. Views of Shiprock can be seen on a clear day to the south.
