Far View Sites Complex Details
Far View was home to hundreds of Ancestral Pueblo from A.D. 900 to about A.D. 1300. After living in this dwelling for about 200 years, some then moved on to building the more famous Mesa Verde cliff dwellings. Located four miles north of the Museum, this mile walk trail system shows you Far View House, Far View Reservoir, Pipe Shrine House, Coyote Village, Megalithic House, and Far View Tower.
