Deepen your appreciation and understanding of Ancestral Puebloan life by studying the prehistoric artifacts on display. Be sure to catch the award-winning half-hour film giving an excellent overview of the history of Mesa Verde, shown on the hour and half-hour. Make time to peruse the bookstore and gift shop. Restrooms, water, snack bar, and a post office also available. Located 20 miles from the park entrance, the Museum is open year round, with longer hours during the summer season. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
