Balcony House Sunrise Tour Details

Balcony House faces the east, creating a unique opportunity to witness the sunrise as the Ancestral Pueblo people did for centuries. Enjoy an early morning one quarter mile walk and hour and a half tour of Balcony House, which includes a 32 foot ladder, a 12 foot narrow passageway, and a 60 foot open cliff face climb with stone steps. Tickets must be purchased in advance at http://www.recreation.gov/ or by calling 1-877-444-6777. $15 per person, limited to 25 people. Start times range from 5-6:30am, check on your start time when you buy your ticket. The tour begins at the north end of the Balcony House parking lot, which is an hour and a quarter drive from the Visitor Center.
