Medano Lake Trailhead Details

The trailhead to Medano Lake is located off of Medano Pass Road, just about half a mile to the west of the summit of the pass. To drive Medano Pass Road -- and thus reach the trailhead -- you must have 4WD and a high-clearance vehicle. The park also recommends lowering your tire pressure to manage the sandy road.
