Over 1,700 surface-acres of water provides enough no wake zones for kayakers, canoeists, and sailboats. The park also offers power zones for ski boats, fishing boats, wakeboarding, and jet skis. A paved road leads to 148 campgrounds that can accommodate vehicles 40-feet long. Pets are allowed, but must be leashed. Sunbathing, picnics and sand play can be enjoyed at the swimming pavilion. There is access to hiking trails, picnic areas and wildlife watching nearby.
