Merced Grove Trail (B10) Details

From this parking lot, you can access the trail that leads to the Merced Grove, the smallest and least crowded of all the Giant Sequoia groves within Yosemite. While in the grove, look for an old cabin that was once a summer retreat for Park superintendents. In the springtime, the trail is resplendent with blossoming dogwood trees. It's a 3-mile round trip, and similar to Tuolumne Grove, it's downhill all the way to the grove - and uphill all the way back. Roadside marker: B10
