May Lake Junction (T21) Details
There are two interpretive signs located at the parking area opposite the road to May Lake Trailhead. The first describes the history of Tioga Road. The second discusses the machinery used by Great Sierra Consolidated Silver Mining Company in the operation of the Great Sierra Mine located on Tioga Hill. The May Lake Trailhead is the starting point for access to the May Lake High Sierra Camp, which is located 1.2 miles down the trail. This backcountry camp is operated by Park concessionaire Delaware North. Roadside marker: T21
