Clothespin Tree (S5) Details

Extensive fire burns have excavated a natural tunnel through this sequoia that is wider than a car. Size is deceptive here, so be sure to walk up and stand in the opening yourself to fully grasp the the size and breadth of this tree. Although it is definitely leaning, it's likely the tree will see stand for generations to come before giving in to the force of gravity. Source: NPS/Jon Kinney
