There are usually fewer people at this picnic area than in the eastern section of the valley. No drinking water. All picnic areas in Yosemite Valley have picnic tables, vault toilets, garbage and recycling receptacles. All picnic areas except Lower Yosemite Fall and Church Bowl have grills.
