Cascade Falls Details

Cascade Falls (also known as The Cascades) starts off as a series of waterfalls, combines with Tamarack Creek, and then plunges 500 feet before flowing into the Merced River. It flows strongest in spring and early summer, and the parking lot located closest to the bridge offers the best view. There is also an interpretive sign located there with more details about the waterfall. This waterfall is sometimes confused with Yosemite Falls by first-time visitors approaching from the Arch Rock Entrance.
