Yurok Loop Details
For a short walk that is family-friendly and easily accessible, follow the Yurok Loop Trail, beginning on the north side of the Lagoon Creek picnic area parking lot. This one mile loop offers a tour of the park's coastal habitats. Soak up views of False Klamath Cove and Lagoon Creek. Explore forests and shrublands dominated by highly adaptive plants that have evolved to survive the harsher conditions along the coast. Keep an eye out for berries and birds - the latter are often spotted on the sea stacks, or the rocky, wave-battered outcroppings.
