Warner Valley Campground Details
Follow a dirt road one mile north of the Warner Valley Ranger Station to reach the Warner Valley Campground. There are a whole bunch of trailheads close to the campground if you're looking for day hikes, including Terminal Geyser, Boiling Springs Lake, Drake Lake, and Devils Kitchen. The Drakesbad Guest Ranch is also located nearby, with amenities like full-service dining, thermal pool swimming, horseback riding, and spa services. The campground is open from early June to mid-October, weather permitting, and all sites are first-come, first-serve. Sites cost $16 each, and there are 17 total. Vault toilets, potable water, and metal food lockers are all located at the campground. The closest dump station is in Chester. Note: the road to the campground can get muddy and rutted, so it is not recommended for those with trailers.
