Ubehebe Peak actually has two summits (the taller is 5,678 feet), and both overlook the famous Racetrack flats and the Grandstand formation. The hike to the summit is a relatively easy climb beginning at the Grandstand parking lot, and at the top you'll have 360 views of the Racetrack Valley, the Cottonwood Mountains, the Saline Valley, the Inyo Mountains, and the rest of the Last Chance Range.
