You might not see an ibex in the Ibex Dunes (they're native to Europe, not America), but this dunefield in the Saratoga Springs area of Death Valley is home to the Mojave fringe-toed lizard. To visit the dunes, you'll need to hike about a mile east of Saratoga Springs Road over some low hills. You'll also find the ruins of an old talc mine overlooking the east side of the dunes, which are located in the southeastern corner of the park.
