Noted for its sweeping views of Death Valley from about 2,000 feet elevation, Hell Gate is located inside the park at the intersection of Daylight Pass Road and Beatty Road. There's a parking lot so you can stop and take pictures, and the 1.2-mile hiking trail to the Death Valley Buttes begin here, as well.
