Crankshaft Junction Details

Located in the northeast corner of Death Valley National Park, Crankshaft Junction is a crossroads where Big Pine Road meets Tule Canyon Road before turning west into Hanging Rock Canyon and connecting to Eureka Valley Road. The junction is near the Crater Sulfur Mine -- an island of private property within the national park. As with Teakettle Junction, visitors have left mementos at this desert intersection -- in this case, rusty automobile crankshafts.
