West Anacapa Island Details

If you want to visit West Anacapa Island, you can certainly do so, but just know that this islet is mostly off limits except for Frenchy's Cove and its small beach, which you can access by boat. Frenchy's Cove is where a gentleman named Frenchy LeDreay lived from 1928 to 1956. Otherwise, the islet is a wilderness area set aside for nesting seabirds, including the California brown pelican.
