Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park Details

Rocky bluffs, never-ending coastlines, and cascading waterfalls are just a sample of what you will get to see when you visit this state park. This area is also home to towering 300-foot redwoods, some of which are more than 2,500 years old. Although there is a lot to cover in 3,762-acres during your visit, one of the biggest features you can not miss is McWay Falls. Located right on the coastline, this 80-foot-tall waterfall jets out of the canyon walls and flows directly onto the beach, where it empties into the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the only two coastal waterfalls in California, making this a fascinating and rare attraction.
