Oge Beach Trail Details
This trail is located on the Manu'a islands, 60 miles east of the main island, Tutuila. The Oge Beach Trail winds along the shoulder between Mata'ala Ridge and Maga Point. Expect to see boobie birds and frigate birds along the trail here, as they call this area home. Follow the trail down the slope to get to Oge Beach, a remote location that often collects large amounts of coral rubble. Be careful as you walk along the beach, as coral cuts are often hard to heal. The hike continues along the beach until reaching Leala Point. The trail is maintained in cooperation with the small village of Olosega. The trailhead starts by the landfill where the Olosega village road ends and continues eastward.
