Rincon Peak Trail Details
If the Rincon Peak is calling to you from its summit at 8,482 feet, and you want to get to that peak via the shortest route, combine the Rincon Peak Trail with the Miller Creek Trail. After following the Miller Creek Trail for 4.5 miles, follow the Heartbreak Ridge Trail for 0.5 mile to the main branch of the Rincon Peak Trail, which leads southward for 3.2 miles (the trailhead is at the junction of Rincon Peak Trail, Rincon Creek Trailhead, and Miller Creek Trail). The trail gets steeper along the way, passing through pine forest until clearing nearer the summit. Keep in mind that this backcountry trail is not used often and may be overgrown, but the hike to the summit should be possible.
