Rincon Mountain Visitor Center Details
The Rincon Mountain Visitor Center is smaller and more rustic than its sister Red Hills Visitor Center in the Tucson Mountain District, but it has plenty to offer as an introduction to the park. Outside, you’ll find an exhibit that highlights some of the major plants you'll encounter during your visit to the park; inside, a 15-minute "Voices of the Desert" film is shown throughout the day, showcasing the Native American stories of the Sonoran Desert. Check in with rangers on programs offered during your visit, and take a look at the bookstore, as well. The entrance to Saguaro National Park's Rincon Mountain District on South Old Spanish Trail is also where you'll find the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center. The Visitor Center is open 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saguaro National Park is open to vehicles from sunrise to sunset daily; times vary throughout the year. You can walk or bike into the park 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
