Transept Trail Details
This short, easy trail closely follows the edge of the Transept, the second largest tributary for Bright Angel Canyon. Running between North Rim Campground and the Grand Canyon Lodge, the trail remains fairly level and well maintained, and talks given by park rangers are occasionally offered along the trail. Although the drop into the Transept is pretty steep, the views from the trail are good, if a little underwhelming.
