Greenway Trail Details
A 2.8-mile Greenway Trail largely follows the 1912 alignment of Hermit Road from Hermit's Rest to Monument Creek Vista. The paved trail is open to hikers, bikers, and wheelchairs. There are six Grand Canyon overlooks along the way, including at Pima Point. You can bike on the Greenway Trail and Hermit Road between Grand Canyon Village and Hermits Rest; if you want to just bike one-way, the park shuttle buses can carry your bicycle back. Biking on the Rim Trail is prohibited, however.
