Desert View Drive Details
Perhaps better named "Canyon" View Drive, this road is actually an segment of Arizona State Route 64, which runs north from I-40 in Williams before heading east along the South Rim and eventually intersecting with U.S. Route 89 in Cameron. The Desert View Drive portion of Route 64 provides automobile access to many of the South Rim's most popular attractions, including Grandview Point, Moran Point, and the Tusayan Ruin and Museum. It's a scenic 26-mile drive to Desert View and the park's east entrance, after which Route 64 proceeds east to Route 89 and Cameron, Ariz.
