Low Pass Route Details
The out-and-back Low Pass Route begins at the Proenneke Cabin and follows the lake's shoreline for about three miles. It's then up to you where to go, but you'll want to choose a route that's the least brushy. Stay on the left side of the creek and follow the tundra ridge to the pass, crossing a few steep slopes along the way. Or, drop into the creek bottom and make your way up to the pass. If you're heading east, you can easily hook up with the Hope Creek Route in the Hope Creek Valley. To access the Low Pass Route, you will need to fly into Upper Twin Lake.
