King Salmon Visitor Center Details
Park headquarters are located at the King Salmon Visitor Center, thirty air miles from Brooks Camp in the town of King Salmon and next door to the King Salmon airport. At the visitor center you can buy your fishing license and gather information on southwestern Alaska's federal public land, in particular the Bristol Bay area. Also at the visitor center is an Alaska Geographic Society bookstore that sells maps, guide books, posters, and small souvenirs. You also can watch videos with information about the area, its culture, and history.
