Wasdale Campsite Details

There are four campsites run by the National Trust: Great Langdale, Low Wray, Wasdale and Hoathwaite. The most remote of the four, Wasdale Campsite is a great spot for those who have come to hike, offering direct access to the highest mountains in the Lake District. The campsite is also near Wastwater, England's deepest lake. Onsite amenities include a shop, toilet and shower blocks, dishwashing area and laundry facilities. There are 120 bookable tent sites, four of which feature electric hookups. There are also three standard pods, which can sleep up to two adults and one child, and four family pods, which can sleep two adults and three children. Those staying in pods will not need a tent, but should bring all other camping gear. The pods feature heat and electricity. There are 11 sites for campers, each with electric hookups. Finally, there are two Nordic tipis, each featuring electric hookups and a wood-burning stove, although guests will still need to bring bedding and cooking equipment.
