Keswick Information Centre Details
The Keswick Information Centre, one of three in Lake District National Park, offers visitors lots of literature, guides to the park and advice from the helpful center staff. The center is in the Keswick Market Square inside Moot Hall, and is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There's free Wi-Fi as well as advice on walking and cycling routes with books and guides for sale, as well as a number of other locally made souvenirs and postcards. There are also plentiful leaflets on hand featuring information on festivals, events and guided walks within the national park. Staff can offer advice for road, rail, bus and boat travel, as well as advice on fishing permits, which are available onsite. Visitors can also book accommodations as well as tickets to a number of local attractions. The top floor of the information center features exhibits on the national park throughout the year.
