Fell Foot Park Details

Situated at the very southern tip of Lake Windermere, Fell Foot is a great, family friendly location to play, explore and relax. Sweeping lawns offer plenty of space for games, picnics and gentle walks, while easy lake access makes the park perfect for paddling, swimming and boating. There is also a Discovery Cottage with interactive activities for kids to keep them entertained come rain or shine. Regular ferry sailings from Fell Foot to Lakeside connect with the steam trains of the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway. The Lakes Aquarium is situated at Lakeside Station, where there is a restaurant on the Pier with panoramic views of Windermere. Rowing boats are available to hire and the adventure playground offers fun for all ages. There is a shop offering a wide range of gifts, as well as locally produced items. The boathouse cafe is a fantastic place to be where you can soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a warming cup of delicious hot chocolate, coffee or tea. Open all year between 9am and 5pm.
