Maho Bay Beach Details

The recent purchase of 74 acres at Maho Bay put one more piece of the island under the park's control. This beach is amenity-free, but that's no matter as the chance of spotting a sea turtle here is ample entertainment. The turtles and the gentle waves make this a popular family beach. Snorkeling is good on the western side of the beach (left side facing the water) and the closer you get to the point, the more coral you will find. The rocks and reef to the north east are home to several different species of fish, and if you show up at the right time, you may even spot an octopus or angel fish.
