Tramline Details
One hundred years ago, travelers were dropped off at a railway station and then taken by tram to the Chateau Lake Louise. The Tramline trail follows the tram route up a 3 percent railway grade, still delivering hikers to the chateau. The trailhead for this hike is found in the parking lot opposite the Lake Louise train station restaurant.
