Spray River West and East Details

Though two separate trails, Spray River West and East are oftentimes hiked together to make a longer day of it out on the trails. The relatively easy trails follow rolling terrain along either side of the Spray River; walk around The Fairmont Banff Springs to join the two trails for the longer hike. More detailed trail descriptions and maps are available at Banff National Park and Parks Canada Visitor Centres, and remember when out on the trails that cell phone service is not reliable. The Spray River East trailhead at Golf Course Road to Spray River Bridge is 5.6 kilometers one way (3.5 miles), and the Spray River West Trailhead to the Spray River Bridge is 5.7 kilometers one way (3.5 miles).
