The Lake Louise Trailer campground is open year-round, and reservations are accepted June 20 - September 14 (dates subject to change). There are 189 full-service camping sites found within the campground, with special regulations due to seasonal bear activity: one completely hard-sided camping unit and one regular vehicle per site; no tent trailers or tents are allowed. A maximum of two vehicles, one RV (up to 15 meters or 50 feet in length) and six people are permitted on each site. The campground features flush toilets, showers, disability access and sanitation dump; fire pits are available at select sites, so be sure to reserve appropriately. There aren't any picnic shelters at this campground. Fees for Lake Louise Trailer are $32.30/night (fees subject to change). Check-in time for all campgrounds is 2 p.m., and check out is 11 a.m. Note that there isn't any Internet/Wi-Fi service at the campgrounds. Camping is popular within Banff National Park, and there are plenty of camp sites from which to choose during your visit. Camping fees vary by campsite and are in addition to park entry fees; cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit cards and travelers checks are accepted forms of payment. If camping in Banff National Park, the rule of thumb is to be prepared for anything. To help you prepare for your camping trip, park rangers suggest you bring along with you: warm and waterproof clothing; hats and mitts/gloves (weather can be unpredictable year-round); umbrellas; groundsheet for your tent; sleeping mat; warm sleeping bag; and extra blankets.
