Cascade Details
What was once a fire road is now a terrific, challenging mountain biking trail. The gravel double track trail starts with a climb before making its way into the wilds of the Cascade Valley, which is prime bear habitat - be sure to be bear aware on this ride! Keep riding until the trail ends at the remote Stoney Creek primitive campground, where you can stay the night (see camping info) or turn around and make your way back to the start. Trail guides and cycling maps are available, and be sure to follow the park's rules and regulations to make the most of your ride: be bear aware; ride on designated trails; avoid riding during extreme conditions; help preserve the trails' quality; know your limits; yield to other riders; and, of course, leave no trace. **Trail Type**: Out and Back **Difficutly:** Moderate **Distance:** 29.2 kilometers round trip (18.1 miles) **Trailhead:** Upper Bankhead parking area
