Bow Lake Details

The headwaters of the Bow River is Bow Lake, which is also a terrific spot to stop and take a look at Crowfoot Glacier. For its small size, the lake's reach is impressive: its waters travel along the Bow River through Calgary and into the Oldman River, eventually reaching Hudson Bay. Not only can you spot Crowfoot Glacier from Bow Lake, but images of the lake itself are impressive - its turquoise waters are stunning. But if you must look around more, check out the views of Wapta Icefield, Bow Glaier, Crowfoot Mountain and Mount Thompson, too.
