Man and Grass Pullout Details
The Man and Grass Pullout lands you in the middle of flat, grassy plains that extend far off into the distance. In the 1800s, cattlemen used what was known as the Long X Trail to move cattle from southern parts of the country north to Montana and North Dakota, where these abundant grasslands fed the herds. Unfortunately, overgrazing damaged the plains and hurt the cattle industry. Today, the land is still recovering and the grass is reserved for native wildlife, which creates a great opportunity for you to catch a glimpse of bison, deer, or coyotes.
