Activities
Everglades National Park offers a multitude of ranger-led programs, specifically in the busy season (November to April). Ranger programs are offered at the Flamingo, Gulf Coast, Royal Palm, and Shark Valley visitor centers, changing from season to season. Flamingo has a wide variety of activities ranging from manatee talks to canoeing. The Gulf Coast area offers canoe and boat tours as well as nature walks. Royal Palm has slough slogs -- a unique hike along a submerged 'trail' -- and walks on the ever-popular Anhiga Trail. Shark Valley is known for its tram tour, which takes visitors through the famed River of Grass.
