Sweetwater Trail Details

If you want to get to Wasson Peak from the eastern side of the Tucson Mountains, the Sweetwater Trail should definitely be on your agenda. The trailhead can be found at the western end of El Camino del Cerro Road. A climb of 3.4 miles brings you to a ridge where Sweetwater Trail ends and merges into King Canyon Trail. Continue along King Canyon Trail for 0.9 mile until you run into the Hugh Norris Trail, which you'll follow for another 0.3 mile to Wasson Peak. It's all downhill back to the trailhead!
