Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad provides a unique and convenient way to explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park, located in Northeast Ohio. The train operates from Cleveland to Akron, Ohio, with three main boarding stations. A $15 pass allows you to ride the rails all day, and you can hop on and off at station stops to explore the park as well as cities like Akron and Canton during your three-hour journey. The popular summer Bike Aboard! program lets you combine a bike ride on the Canal Towpath Trail with a train ride: it costs just $5 to bring your bike aboard from several stations. Traveling in classic, mid-century passenger cars pulled by vintage diesel engines, you'll enjoy constant views of the Cuyahoga River, glimpses of the historic Ohio and Erie Canal, farms, and villages, and pass through pine and oak forests.
