Activities
National Parks do a terrific job of involving the youngest visitors through its Junior Ranger Program, and Saguaro National Park also offers a new Not So Junior Ranger Program. Through the Junior Ranger Program, children ages five and up can pick up Self-Guided Discovery Day Packs at either Visitor Center to complete during their visit to the park. It takes about 90 minutes to complete the 12 or 20 page activity booklets, and makes park visits even more interesting to children as they learn. The Not So Junior Ranger Program is ideal for children and their families who are spending half a day or more in Saguaro National Park, and delves deeper into the park's history, flora and fauna, and more. Whichever program your child completes, he or she will be awarded an official Saguaro National Park Junior Ranger certificate and badge. Additional kid-friendly options include wilderness camp and educational programs, as well as Desert Diversity Games. Saguaro National Park also offers [Summer Junior Ranger Camps](https://www.nps.gov/sagu/planyourvisit/junior-ranger-camp-east-district.htm) in June.
