Steel Visitor Center and Park Headquarters Details

The Steel Visitor Center and Park Headquarters greets you four miles south of the southern park entrance and Mazama Village Campground, at the intersection of Mudson Creek Road and East Rim Drive. The information center and ranger station here are open year-round (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April through November, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., November through April). Every half hour, park rangers show a 22-minute film called _Crater Lake: Into the Deep_. There is also a small post office at the visitor center, open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., except holidays. The visitor center has accessible restrooms.
