For food and shopping options at Badlands National Park, Cedar Pass Lodge is the central spot. It's the only location within the park where you can purchase food, offering both full sit-down meals and snacks. If you prefer to bring your own food, there are several spots with shaded picnic tables for outdoor dining, including near the Ben Reifel Visitor Center and the Conata Picnic Area. For lodging, Cedar Pass Lodge provides cabin rentals for a comfortable stay within the park. Shopping can be enjoyed at the Cedar Pass Lodge Badlands Gift Shop, Convenience & Camp Store, open from April 19 to October 20, 2024. The shop features a selection of regional and handmade gifts, Northern Plains Native artwork and crafts, as well as apparel and souvenirs. For those needing quick meal options or snacks, the store also offers convenience food items. Additionally, the Badlands Ranch Store is another shopping venue within the park, known for its variety of reasonably priced souvenirs and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
