From the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center (mile 4.6 on Skyline Drive), start following the Dickey Ridge Trail to the left of the building. Where it intersects with the Fox Hollow Trail, turn right. This is a loop trail that will take you back to the trailhead. Along the way, you will pass the Fox family cemetery. Please respect this and the 100-plus other cemeteries in the park: these are remnants of the former family farms that existed in this region before the park was established.
