Oak Hill Trail Details
Originally cleared by Youth Conservation Corps Crews in the late 19th century, this easy, picturesque trail is popular among summer hikers and winter cross-country skiers alike. Leaving the trailhead near Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center, the path meanders through old hay fields filled with scrubby shrubs and tall grasses, as well as wide variety of meadow wildlife. The rest of the trail runs over small rolling hills forested with a few remaining oaks, hawthorns, and black cherries, and offers excellent access to small, protected Meadowledge Pond, and the larger Sylvan Pond.
