The annual fruit-harvesting season is by far the biggest event on the Capitol Reef calendar: visits can pick fruit from June to October, depending on which fruit are ripe. The Capitol Reef Natural History Association also hosts an annual open house in early December, where all merchandise is half-off for the holidays.
